Edward Dreslinski, LCSW-S
I believe that successful therapy starts with a strong, collaborative relationship between the therapist and client. I understand that each one of my clients has a unique story to share and I am committed to listening with empathy and without judgment. My style is conversational, intuitive, and direct with each intervention grounded in evidence-based research.

I help individuals, couples, and families identify and break through the barriers keeping them from living the life they want. I work with both adults and adolescents and have a proven track record of being able to help people with short-term, situational problems as well as those dealing with more severe or long-term issues.

I am originally from Austin and went to graduate school at the University of Texas, where I still lecture on group therapy from time to time. I have one adult child and travel as much as I can. I play softball, watch movies at the Alamo, hike the Greenbelt, and volunteer at various organizations in my spare time. I support local Austin businesses and am committed to helping Austin and its citizens be the best version of themselves.

"I've seen about a dozen therapists over the past decade and Edward has by far been the most effective I've worked with. I appreciate how direct he was in our sessions and how quickly he was able to identify where I needed help. It has been about a year since my last session and I can honestly say his guidance stays with me and helps me to continue growing... Edward is an absolutely fantastic provider who am grateful to have worked with." - Former Client, Healthgrades

"In the few months I've been seeing Edward, I've gained more clarity and confidence in my everyday life than I could've imagined from the outset. If you're serious about growing and changing your life for the better, I can't recommend him enough." - Former Client, Healthgrades
